Finally popped the first bird of the season. Been out a handful of times but didn’t see much or they were flushing out of reach. I did see a dozen elk cows tonight.

When our governing officials dismiss due process as mere semantics, when they exercise powers they don’t have and ignore duties they actually bear, and when we let them get away with it, we have ceased to be our own rulers.

What it means is it’s October and I’m still mowing grass every 3-4 days
