I read the PDF's on another forum. The raffle is for 1 rifle at the Shot Show. 2000 will be sold to active duty police and military, the balance are to be sold to everyone else.. There is no info on how to buy one of the remaining rifles, yet, that I could find. Judging from the interest, they are already gone.

Well then this quote from the OP link is . . . . misleading?

"They'll be taking 2,000 of these capable (and pre-customized by the soldiers who carried them) sniper rifles and selling them on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority given to military snipers, active and reserve duty military, retired military, and law enforcement, respectively.

Two thousand more will be raffled off, $5 gets you one ticket, $20 gets you five, and a benjamin gets you thirty tickets. All proceeds will go to the Fisher House Foundation, which provides comfort homes for wounded soldiers and their families, for free."
    That's all I got.

That's good, I hope they make a bundle. This is a very worthy cause. I would donate 5 for sure. But I wouldn't mind getting a hundred dollars worth.

Thanks..it would be interesting to see how it performs with some custom built ammo...do you reload?

long long ago, in a galaxy far far away I did reload. I even built our house with my own reloading room. I then started my own business, putting in 80 hr weeks so the equipment just sat there. I sold it all to an employee and the room is now the wife's art studio. :tissue:

Shooters have reported good results with Federal Gold Medal 168gr Match Ammo. We'll see what happens.

Has anyone received any info on a request to purchase one? One of my friends meets the criteria as a former Ranger with sniper training and he has not heard anything from his application with his info.

www.remingtondefense.com will have more information "after Monday."

I am in no way affiliated with Remington Defense.

I was told you are in charge of it all.

Justin Bieber said so, it must be true if he said it !! :jester:
