275 lbs of Bacon!!

Took a couple friends out for pigs tonight. 

Saw two groups. One of 7 and the other of 13. 

The larger group was in the best position, so we went for them. 

A recent 3” rain made the plowed field a task. But, we made it to 291 yards and they made a synchronized shot. Dropping each pig with a .308 Win round through the top of the heart. 

168gr A-Max rules.

I would think so.  I would assume not much tracking needed when you hunt with them...

Those are the kind of friends to have. I once hunted a few seasons with a guy who was such a bad shot that I spent as much time tracking his wounded critters as I did hunting my own game.

Unfortunately.....he owned the rights to the lease.
