...... to buy a new vehicle!

My wife finally got fed up with putting $100 of 93 octane in the Audi every week and still fouling plugs every year.. She was headed into town to get tires put on it when the check engine light came on for misfires. Just did plugs and coils a year ago

We went to Pittsburgh last week and she saw a new Jeep Compass she liked. I mentioned it was one of the few that had a manual transmission.... She like to drive a manual..

So she stopped in the local Jeep dealer and traded.....

They had to bring in a manual from hours away because no one drives them any more.... Why keep in stock?

While doing the paperwork they used my truck for owner loyalty rebate. So they got my VIN from insurance card.

When I took her to pick up Compass the sales manager said he could put me in a new 4x4 lease for $50 more a month than my current truck. I had planned on buying it because 5 trips back and forth to Florida killed my 12,000 per year mileage. So I said no thanks. Sneaky booger had a Bighorn brought up to the front door and as we were leaving said, "I can put you in that for $36 more."

I told him I couldn't. Owed to much for mileage on old one and still a year from end of lease. Well if you are getting another vehicle from dealer..... Mileage doesn't matter. Only matters if you turn in to lease company...

Soooooo.....

Congrats! I'm not a huge Chrysler fan, but the newest rendition of the Ram has my attention. They've really outdone themselves with the performance and creature comforts.

My Tacoma is paid off and shows no signs of being unreliable yet, but if it came to a tragic end the Ram would be on the short list.

I am not brand loyal. I would take a GMC or Ford (Chevy and Tundras are ugly IMO)........ Ram always has the better deals

Congrats on the new truck.  I have always considered the Ram the better looking of the bunch, even if I am a Silverado fan.

I actually like the Rams with body color grille and bumpers more...... but went with the deal.

The sales guy said this deal had been the most popular he's ever seen. They can't keep a Bighorn on the lot. The one I got was supposed to be picked up that day by someone. They cancelled until Monday and lost their spot...

The "bold=contains unread posts" feature isn't working correctly AT ALL.

When they called the other dealer to get it sent up to this dealer 1) they couldn't find anyone who could drive a stick to drive it and 2) they were glad to be rid of it. They had someone new ordering who ordered two by mistake

We have had good luck with my wife's 300 but I have had so much trouble with my jeep that I have swore off Chrysler products. I had planned to buy a new pickup when I retired but I guess it will be a GM. I did just buy another jeep but only because nobody else made a rhd. When I retire it will go away.

Yeah My silverado, had turned 250k on it and well with one rebuilt trans and a very well maintained vehicle, I was looking. Well with one totaled test drive truck to my name I realized the Colorado had some seriously good ratings for drash and roll over. So I sold the truck and picked up a new Colorado, with the 2.8 diesel. That was 6 months ago. And not really leaving the state of michigan for any travel( Michigan city IN is not leaving the state) Im at 13700 and 313 hours on the motor. She runs great, though I don't like to push her over 85. and though she is smaller, the truck is doing fine.
Just wish I had a few more HP's but she is a torque lil sucker. Been happy. But it will be a bit more time before the warranties are up. First time I got an extended warranty. ONly cause I did not know how the 2.8 lt would operate. Yeah them dealerships can suck ya in if your not careful.

If you think OHSA is a little town in Wisconsin you may be in trouble!

My daughters jeep did a software update. And after a mile it went into limp mode.  Limped it to the dealer and they said oh its a bug, we have an update.

I hope to never drive a car that does a software update.

Same here.  That seems pretty stupid.
