ATF proposed revisions to 4473 form

Not sure if this belongs here, so mods do with as you please. 

Most of the form remains the same, except for some moving around and the addition of "parish" on the county of residence portion. 

What caught my eye was the "Sex" check box. There are now three choices. Male, Female, and Non-Binary. 

Just curious if anyone has any insight to this addition, or is it simply PC?

I think it is because of this "guy". Federal judge changed the rules.

Those portions of the form, like it or not are to identify an individual.  You can be straight, bi, gay, dress however you please.  But what you have, either by birth or surgically changed, is what you are. This kind of stuff is BS

When I held an FFL, I had a few customers ask that question. I had more than a few black customers complaining about the entire race section.

Wow. I read the entire article. One "guy" created this much havoc. At least he now owns it.

I have now idea why Latino  or sex has anything to do with a ATF form 4473!
