Bernie Sanders has serious conversations with his socks...  and his socks answer him back.

The telling moment was months ago when Beto O'Rourke called for his gun grab and none of the other candidates on stage bothered to say anything contradictory.

Tulsi Gabbard's website has a nice run-on sentence stating her support for every sound-byte bit of gun control currently popular to spew.

Bloomberg?  Nothing needs to be said there.

Newsom, Northam, Feinstein, Schumer, NYC, Chicago, California.

Doesn't matter whose face you want to put in front of it, they are officially The Party That Needs to Go Away.

We had a friend visit last night.  As long as we have known her, politics has never come up.  Come to find out she hates Trump and gave all the standard BS that Democrats spew over and over.  Imagine my horror when she went on to say she thinks Pete would make a good President.  Why?  He is a Veteran, young and gay.  Vet?  OK, the rest ?  HUH?  It was not an argument worth having after several glasses of good wine, so I let it go. We then went on to talk about her wanting to learn to shoot. I just chuckled to myself while thinking, good luck with that if one of them is elected

You can't force socialism on half the country without disarming them first. It is that simple with the left.
When our governing officials dismiss due process as mere semantics, when they exercise powers they don’t have and ignore duties they actually bear, and when we let them get away with it, we have ceased to be our own rulers.

In 2016 Bernie got 60% of NH against Hillary.  Currently he has about 27% against a mayor.  I think the socialist movement in the US has run its course.

As long as people want free **** from the government, and people will promise free **** for their vote, socialism is not dead.
Apparently free thought is punished, and conformity is required, while peckerless cowards run the show.

Getting free **** isn't socialism when it's corporate subsidies. Just ask the GOP.

My job requires random drug screens. The nurse I spoke with during my resent testing said she was going to go to her second job after completing her shift at that provider. I offered brief inquiry. Her response was well, this is Denver. Cost of living is through the roof here.

    The real questions though are.....
Is she typical of the beneficiary of a Donald Trump, Republican, crony capitalist economy?

Does she want government free stuff? Maybe she's lazy and inferior?

And finally. Is the threat of the pending socialist scourge real? Or is like the Obama's going to take your guns; that created a huge pig n' a poke for opportunists ready to capitalize on the fear?

I don't claim to know the answers. I only refuse passage on the ship.

Maybe the nurse is trying to pay off her student loans early, maybe she is trying to pay off her house in 10 years, maybe she manages her money poorly, maybe she likes to gamble, maybe she has a serious gun collecting problem ;) .

As it is- there is a nursing shortage pretty much anywhere.  She could easily take her skills to anywhere more affordable to live and make good money.

All true enough. A lot of unkown info beyond the scope of breif social exchange.

Still, that and a abundance of other daily evidence seems to not always fit in with the trending narratives.

No sorry, it means it has been adopted by “mainstream” candidates who espouse the same ideas but they call themselves moderates.  Same story and promises, different label.  It’s called  marketing.
