Pawn shop rescue

Every other week of so I have a loop of pawn shops I hit locally, about 5 in all. Most of the time it’s the same old junk and a few cheap accessories. Every now and then a good deal shows up.  Even more rare the exceptional deal shows up. Today was the day. I found this, a Springfield XD-9 with 2 mags for $230 OTD! Score! I shot it at the indoor range it shot a fist shot group at 20 yards.

Wow! I have enough guns that I don't shoot that I'm a hard sell for practically anything nowadays. In this case though, my wallet would have been lighter, and my pocket heavier, before the seller had time to rethink.

Thant’s exactly what I did. I asked the pawn broker of the 40%off store wide sale included guns. He said yes..... I said I’ll look at the XD he handed it to me and did the calculation for me, I already did. And said $210, I immediately said sold! Thanks Mike!

Yep, either junk or way overpriced. I got the pick of the litter. They had 1953 Winnie 94 that had been drilled for a side mount and sling swivels for a mere $1395. Even at 40% off still to high. A couple 1k Ar’s that are 450 beaters. And a savage bolt gun that was plain, with a tasco scope, meh. And a few single shot shotguns.

Already got another magazine, and plenty of 9 in the stash. Holsters, have to do some thinking.

Great deal on a quality gun. I have one and its always been very reliable. One of my wife's favorites to shoot.

That's a damned good deal by anyone's standards.  A 9mm of any variety for that price is hard to come by anymore, and you got a very reliable and great shooting gun.
