    That’s why I ended up with a 1.5-4x variable.
The ACOG didn’t work. It mounts too high on the C308 and didn’t have enough adjustment to zero.
Hummmmmm, I wonder if I would have the same issue with the FAL...
    Likely.
Hummmm, that would be an expensive experiment...
I like the idea of a 1-4x or a 2-7 would be good  too.
    That is looking better...

Nope they can have the building! Touch any of my people or my Jeep, different story.
Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.

Bloke on the Range, an Englishman living in Switzerland, has an episode on Youtube looking at the inch-version of that rifle.  There are differences I wasn't aware of.  The inch pattern doesn't have a last round holdback for some reason and the rear sights are less robust. It's an interesting perspective on that rifle type you can interpret for a metric pattern.  I haven't found a video of him firing one.  Bloke is a competitive shooter and pretty good with an emphasis especially on bolt guns, but an apparent appreciation of the Garand, the European .308 version.
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.
