Keep the economy going, suggestions

So, I think I'll probably build an AR in 300 Blackout this spring. Looks fun, neat little cartridge. I need some new reloading challenges.
But, also thinking about another 45ACP, but not a 1911. Glock 21? CZ makes one...any other suggestions?

FN Herstal makes some nice 45s.
Small hands need not apply to either above.
Honestly, S&W 625. Even in spite of the fact that I am NOT a moon clip fan, the ability to combine a revolver's ability to not care so much about really aggressive bullet noses with the .45 ACP's very practical performance envelope can make for a very useful platform.
Having played with moon clips in a Smith 1917, I'd be doing most of my shooting with .45 Auto Rim brass (available from Starline), but either way, this platform allows you to do things like use a revolver to dispose of your less reliable reloading mistakes. It effectively gives you a .44 Special that uses the same bullets / bullet molds as your 1911.

1911
Flat, 1911-style mainspring housing,
Short, 1911-A1-style trigger
Slimline grips, screws, & bushings
If you have REALLY small hands, Gunsite low-mount safety.
PROBABLY some kind of memory bump grip safety, assuming keeping the thumb atop the safety makes disengagement problematic.

how about a Beretta Cougar. Funky operating system... designed by Stoner.

Be trading the 308 in for a fast 30 any day now I suspect. ...
You guys need to think bigger.

Na, he needs something he can punch paper with. A .270 just won't get the penetration.
