SCOTUS Refuses to hear 2A cases!

Seems, yet again, someone(s) has decided that the Justices shouldn't get the chance to hear 2A cases.  Not much good having five conservative Justices if some panel blocks the case.

Gun control laws make about as much sense as taking ex-lax to cure a cough.

Actually, it was on MSN website and then disappeared.  Fox News just showed it @11:30 that SCOTUS refused to hear multiple cases that 2A advocates were hoping to be heard.  So next session 2A will not be decided once again.  I just googled it and it refers back to the May post, not today's ruling.

Roberts, the worst pick ever. Won't hear cases or decides the wrong way.

But yet they'll make sure to not offend the sugar britches and fly high the freaking gaybow flag. This nation is going downhill very fast.

This IS beginning to get a little exasperating - key B.O.R. issues and they lack the stones to hear the cases, ignoring a major reason why we elected Trump - to make sure Hillary's picks to the Court were not deciding these issues.

Amusingly though, we seem to be in the early stages of Thomas Jefferson's prophesy - "The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they come to take it"

Between COVID-19 and the late civil unrest, even a lot of starched-undies anti-gunners have been coming to the conclusion that when the chips are truly down, you have no one to rely on but yourself.  I've said it elsewhere - between the Clinton, Obama, and regional ban scares, plue the events of the last six months, there are probably five times as many AR-15's in circulation as there were M1 Garands that were needed to fight WWII.

To me, this speaks louder than some pencil-necked lawyer's gavel.

    My musing questions are these.

Have the numbers of people exercising our gun rights increased significantly???

    If so.....
Will those numbers voice and vote an insistence on the preservation of those rights???

I do believe that this actually is happening.

My buddy has been helping out at the local gun store during the recent rush, and he has been getting a whole lot of the "What the fudge do you mean I have to wait ten days?" kind of questions that you only get in California from someone who's been totally oblivious to the industry, or possibly drinking CNN's Kool Aid stories of gun show loopholes and five dollar Kalashnikovs from the trunk of a car.

And really, after the recent spurts in Dem-inspired gun buying over the last 2.75 decades, it's not the folks who have been stocked up since at least the Obama/Clinton eras braving the crowds and risking COVID exposure to suck the inventories dry.

So there seem to be a lot of first time buyers right now that can't find SQUAT.  Basically the kind of folks who decide it's time to prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse while they're having their brains sucked out.  They're coming in to find the inventory reduced to a handful of consignments consisting of either single action .22 revolvers or things with prices that are massively inflated  -  - because we CAN.  They are also getting a first hand introduction to the barricades to gun ownership that our Democratic super-majority has erected, and are coming to learn how we feel about it.

While a certain amount of these folks will fall into the it's all about MY NEEDS, RIGHT NOW, and they'll continue to vote Stupid, there's little doubt that some have finally smelled the coffee.  There also seems to be a good amount of online push-back against the current anti-police movement and some of the thinking behind it - mainly of folks who don't scream very loud, but will carry their grudges to the polls.

    We shall see.
