Barrel straightening.

    S&W taught to straighten a revolver barrel whack it on a billet of lead.  As for finding the crook in a rifle barrel, you can look at the reflection of straight line through the barrel and it will look crooked where the bend is.

    why straighten it?  With a bent barrel, you can shoot around corners and other obstacles.

    Who cares about the barrels.  I love that at 1:55 he does a good reach around and scratches his ****!!

    They show the "shadow" version of finding the bend in the video "Gunsmiths of Williamsburg" but I think they straightened it out with a dead blow hammer.

    That was the treatment we used after a night out spent with "professional girls"  and resulting  problems with urination. Penicillin worked  better.
