Colorado cast and blast

Thought I would start a dedicated thread for this.
Those interested can post here with dates and places of interest.
The first one we did back in 2003 or so was at the Byers canyon shooting range near Hot Sulphur Springs, Co. There is fishing nearby as well as camping facilities.
I'm pretty open on dates except the weekend of Sept 12th is daughters wedding date.
So post up ideas and lets make this happen.

Good place. I'll have to check on possible dates.

Fall will be long waiting lines at that range on the weekends. No joke.

Dates dependent, this could be very doable if it goes down after I return from overseas (around early Aug).

I remember the event, and the camp ground.  As I recall, it's right on the Colorado River.  A buddy and I even went back that fall or the next fall for a deer hunt.  He got a doe, and I got skunked.

I'd love to do it, but it's not likely in the cards for me.

You being from out of town, is there a time frame that works best for you?

I still remember that awesome brisket you made for the event.  I also remember a beaver on the river scaring the crap out of me when it tail-slapped right behind our camp spot.
