The rest of the holes are me fumbling around......

Only way to avoid crowds here is to get there at sunup. Open sky country actually up near Elkcreeks stomping grounds. Pawnee Grasslands. Cool at night. Usually. The Trail boss loads are 150gr Nosler BTs with 12.0grs. Had to hold over 3" kentucky elevation @ 50yards. I picked bad targets for scopes but he did good on those because he had precise lines to use for aim and mild recoil. The loads were made before Hodgdon developed the formula for any bullet. Their data was specific to that bullet.

I forget how  cool it can be at elevation.  It was 81 when I got up at 0600 this morning.
I sure miss going out with my boy.   Yes a little envy here.

Sometimes he does shoot better than me. Puts him in pretty good company. Be along time before he can out fumble me. Ive got that down to a science...........
