I purchased a new Taurus TX22 (a nice format pistol that fits my mand perfectly) in October of 2019. Fired >300 rounds of .22 LR (CCI MiniMag, Remington Golden Bullet, and Federal American Eagle) ammo, all copper jacketed or plated. Unfortunately, the pistol jams more that 50% of the time. I contacted Taurus Customer Service (CS) about this; I was asked to provide a picture of the recoil spring, and did so. CS responded that they would send a replacement recoil spring. After hearing nothing more for a couple months, contacted them again; was told the item is backordered and there was no info about when a replacement could be provided. Months passed, and I heard nothing more from them. Have tried to contact them since; it has now been more that 9 months. I have received no response to my latest email --- 2 - 3 weeks ago.
Anyone had similar experiences? Anyone know how to get Taurus CS to respond? I'd really like to be able to use this pistol --- but using it as it is would not be feasibe.
