They may not take your guns directly. So they have a new game:  Taking out 2A supporters.

The NRA will gain 5,000,000 new members out of this.  NY is broke and the Feds will not back this up.  Trump hates NY so do the math.  If I was LaPierre I’d be cracking a bottle of the good stuff.

Yep.  Hey as long as they are the biggest thorn on the liberal side of the aisle and I keep hearing their name out of Biden and the rest of the tribe as the enemy?  I'm good.

I'm no fan of LaPierre and his suits - but I'm still onboard with the NRA and the GOA both. Oh, and JPFO as well.

And by the way I do believe that the NRA is long overdue for new oversight and audit and I do believe there have probably been improprieties conducting company business.  But the solution is not a dissolution, it’s an outside audit and if anyone did something wrong (as in outright illegal) send their asses to jail.

I predict NYC will have another pandemic to worry about soon due to the trash and garbage piling up higher than you can look over. Old diseases like bubonic plague, cholera, dysentery, etc. And Gov. Cuomo is begging the rich folks to come back to NY; his tax base of millionaires and billionaires have left like rats off a sinking ship and taking their money and businesses with them. The lower half of the state is going to implode.
The NRA does need an outside audit and a general housecleaning. Some of the folks at the top are getting way too greedy with membership money and need their hands AND faces slapped hard. Just like Congress, the NRA directors and leadership need to be changed out, from time to time.

I'm no legal scholar, but I have to wonder what standing any state has in such a matter.  The NRA is a national (or international) organization, so how can a state shut them down?

This is nothing more than a political stunt designed to divert funds from the NRA that would go to advertising for President Trump to fighting this BS lawsuit.

Pretty much but they incorporated as a State non-profit as well and do business from their so I am sure there are State licenses issued.   They need to move to another State and so do any other 2A companies .IMHO.

Texas Gov Greg Abbott has already offered to have them move to Texas.

I thought that the NRA was headquartered in Virginia.  But, as a native Texan, I would surely welcome them.
