I am sure that many have noticed that most of the News Outlets have stopped allowing comments on their articles.
In the short time since they made the change, the articles have become even more anti Trump/Republican Party and pander to the mis/il/un informed to an almost comical level. They make crazy comments and opinions and put them out as fact, and nobody is able to say anything in return.
I used to read "YAHOO NEWS" as much to read the comments as the leftist articles
This probably means little so some and less to others, but it is becoming the new normal here in the USA. The people of America need to wake up and see what politicians of each party are doing to us. The Democrats and their hate should be put in its place.

TV news is almost completely void of dignity. I like BBC, PBS, NPR.. I claim no lack of bias there, but at least they have some dignity.
I'm not sure how the Democrats are complicit in the degregation of news content? Does the DNC own stock? What possible interest could a coporate entity have in supporting anything that leans towards socialism? I suspect that perceived bias is more against the incumbent than for the opposition. And that some portion of the objectionable content is actually true. I don't claim to know how much.
If I need to know something, I'll find it elsewhere
The incidents of violence and unprovoked attacks are rising alarmingly in all the cities that are in turmoil lately so for the most part it does not affect me on a day to day basis, but my senses tell me that the zombies are feeling jiggy all over the USA and getting emboldened by the day.
I speak to all folks all day long, ll over the USA for business, many living in these affected areas and they are ALL telling me that it's actually WORSE than what is shown on TV. Retail in NYC is taking a massive hit since they are not prosecuting non-violent crime anymore so if you go to the local drugstore to buy something it is not unusual for folks to just walk in with a bag, fill it up and walk out. And if you even LOOK at them you will be met with a rather defiant response. These thugs are untouchable in their minds, and to a certain extent they are in many places.
It will not take long before they realize they can take the behavior outside of city limits. They are organized and well funded.
Of course if it was more public and shown in entirety on tv BLM would lose support quickly.

As far as news sources, I've written off all of the MSM as left wing mouthpieces. I get my news from some 'other than MSM' sources, and won't name them here. No use starting a poo flinging fight.
As to the happenings in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, New York City, et al, I'm really beginning not to care about them at all. Folks got the government they voted for, and if they don't rise up in rebellion to it, then they would seem to deserve the government they get. They seem comfortable with the rioting, burning, looting, and general anarchy in their midst as they have not gathered in force at the Mayor's office or the state capitols to voice their displeasure. People who will not stand for something will generally fall for anything as it's 'somebody else's job' and they can't be bothered with it. In three words, "I DON'T CARE'.

The US has no active duty stations there. I'm thinking it was a couple of Reservists with little to no oversight that weren't aware of regulations.
Much as I hate to give the DNC a pass on anything......I'm gonna give them this one.
It's not quite the same as a Marine NCO holding an umbrella over O'bamas' head during a slight drizzle in the continental US.

Instead I try to pick apart the consistencies I see in various reports of the same incident from online sources. Not perfect, but at least it gives me a shot at creating my own objectivity.

Ever since Roger Ailes died in 2017, FOX has been going downhill because of his more moderate son that is now in charge. Daytime news has definitely deteriorated by being more PC than they used to be, and a couple of night-time conservative talkers have been censured. If I ever notice Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham, or Dobbs going PC, that will be it for me.
