Need Opinions on This Semi-Auto Shotgun

I have an interest in buying a new HD 12 gauge, and will probably do it if we get any more government money (or maybe without it). This gun is manufactured locally to me, and this seems like a really good price for what you get. It comes with 2-5 round mags, and for $120 you can get a drum-mag. I would like opinions on this specific brand and model if there are any knowledgeable people on this.

I'd check online reviews for querks or failures. If its mechanically sound then the only other consideration is how the recoil is. Face smacker? Shoulder cracker? Sometimes light or skeletonised has draw backs. Other times they're not bad.

Cool looking gun.  As is, it appears to be a single purpose gun for use defending your home.  Not for hunting (I guess) but for me, the cool factor doesn't overcome the price for a  HD gun fit only for HD. Not easily concealable outside the home.  Your choice, not my cup of tea.

Looks like it would be a challenge to shoot with the drum mag.  I'll stick with my VEPR, at least the magazine is where it is supposed to be...

Well, there are some really good considerations I hadn't thought of. I guess no one that answered has any personal experience with this type/brand of shotgun. For me it would be strictly PD/HD. I like the design/military look of it, but I will consider the other things mentioned before I plunk down my cash....I have a pump 12 gauge Mossberg with the shortened barrel, but it's the semi-auto and looks of this that caught my attention.. thanks for all opinions.

In all honesty....my first thought was Mossberg pump. Though I don't own one, if I wanted a dedicated HD shotgun, I'd look no further.

fwiw, i dont have one of those.

I was able to see/handle one at our local gun show last year.  if found it cool.

But some comments...

 > you may want to pickup one up and handle it.  See how it fits you and your body and go from there.

 > If it appeals to you then get one.  You will find out sooner or later if you like it or not after putting some round down range.  

 > as far as the various other shotguns out there, there are others too.   

> a friend has one of those Saiga AK style semi auto shot gun.  The one he got was sort of like a plane jane but he bought a new dress for it and blinked it up.  It still a shot gun and all he did was to add more stuff to it.

Since the manufacturer is only about 20 miles away from where I live, I may call them and see if I could handle one before I buy it.

if you are going to try that route, then i would look around if any gun rental range has one to try and or ask the mfg if you can test fly one.  

im sure they have a range to test fly those that are NEW or coming back for issues.

Same here. But that Pro Series M semiauto would interest me a LOT. And it's $500.
