Two more debates! Can't wait! Not.

If Trump would shut up, Biden would sink his own ship.

I think trump had the tactic in mind to keep pushing Biden until her either exploded and challenged him to a push-up contest, or have him completely lose it and slip into a full on stuttering lost-in-space senior moment.  Thought it would look very TV-ready in an Sobby-Doo ending where the villain is unmasked and shown to be insane.

But it blew up on him.  Biden kept his cool, and did not completely vapor-lock.  Now Biden has a reason to say “I am not going to the next two debates with this lying blowhard since he will not abide by the rules of the debate.”

This was not a good outcome.

I was hoping Biden would have a meltdown, and he might have if Trump had let him alone.  As it was, it was more of a food fight than a debate.  As they talking heads like to say, I don't think it moved the needle.

IMO, political debates have been meaningless for decades. In today's Orwellian Marxist PC Correct world the questions are always centered on the absurd rather than things that really matter. We've traded the economy, our broken VA, education, science, our elderly, military strength, space exploration, libraries, museums, commerce, trade, and immigration vetting for the absurdity of homosexual rights, professional sports, celebrities, tearing down/erasing history, installing communism, and America shaming. In closing I agree with the general sentiments expressed above - Trump blew it and blew big time. It wasn't his constant interruptions that bothered me as Biden did the same exact thing when he debated Ryan - what bothered me was his childish behavior and being suckered and manipulated into the democratic playbook.

Not a good outcome at all
If Trump would have just shut up, Biden would have talked himself into a corner, but noooo Trump had to attempt to talk over him and throw crap out there that did not belong.  It look like he wanted to look bad on National Television

I've seen more criticism of Chris Wallace than of either candidate.  Maybe he was the real loser in last night's debacle.

I'm not. My wife goes off the rails anytime Trump opens his mouth. OTOH, she can't stand Biden, and she loathed Sanders. I've tried to point out that, even though in our sixties, we've never had the chance to vote (except for once) for anything except the lesser of two evils.

And that's what I saw last night... two weevils!

If you're referring to Biden and Wallace, I couldn't agree more.

New changes being proposed for the upcoming vice presidential debate.
I might watch it if they make the changes.

I read something today about the possibility of the rules being changed and giving the moderator the means to turn off a debaters mic when they talk too long or keep interrupting the other. Might be a good thing.
