FINALLY got to the range!!

Between the covid and then the HEAT, I just haven't been able to go shoot. Had a few I hadn't shot yet so needed to ring them out.
My new favorite has to be the 03A3, I just refurbed!!

When I did my part it shot good, even with the rather sketchy surplus ammo from about 1958, and only a fore arm rest.

200 yard gong was dead meat!!
Had my 1894 Winny in .38-55 and 1893 Marllin in .30-30 along. I just put peeps on both of them and they shot well, just need some fine tuning!

I feel your pain, haven't been in over a year now. Soon to be rectified though. Joined a range in northern Colorado, I get orientation Oct 3rd and then it's game on!!

Range day is always a good thing.  Been far to long for myself.  Will have to get someone to take me out before my fingers rust!

Great fun and shooting! I’ve always wanted to shoot a 38-55. It looks like a great lever caliber.

I have three of them so ya, it's one of my favorites. The 1894, an 1893 Marlin and an 1899 Savage take down. The Winny is the latest I had to tune the load for it after I slugged the bore I found out I had to load a larger diameter bullet than for the Marlin and Savage. Those two shoot a .379, and the '94 needs a .381.
