Mines (actually my sons) is in 204 ruger 26" with the brake.

I like to use the top shelves of my safe.  Thus, I would go with the shorter barrel.

Not a problem with the way I have mine setup. Problem was trying to cram it in there with everything else. HOPE to get to the range this week.

Well, it did this with unknown reloads at 100. Some flavor of tipped ammo that I purchased years ago...I need to start reloading. The bullseye 5 shot group was the first after adjustment. Got a little too excited for the rest and tried too hard.

I don't even have my crocs in sport mode.... ...I am going to have to find some kind of ammo for now since reloading isn't quite in the cards yet. Only have around 30 of the unknown reloads left. I was super pleased with the way it shot even though I got in hurry trying to replicate the first group. I could get a couple touching but then pulled the rest due to excitement. I'll take it for the first time out with it!

I would go the other way and get a 16”-18” barrel. But about all that I would want one for is self defense.
