Pheasant opener 2020

Even during these ‘uncertain’ times...pheasant opener was a great success. Birds were plentiful, comraderie outstanding, good whiskey endless, and memories forever. Oh....dogs were excellent. My Glen made several retrieves, one unbelievable. Looking forward to my local hunts.

*Might* sneak one in before deer season, probably not, but the door is open for Aberdeen, thanks for the pictures hey! How much corn is still standing?

Here's a big ol' "you suck".  That looks like just way too much fun.

Depends on area, but it’s coming out fast. We got hammered with 4-5” of snow today.

Lucky guy! I've been on exactly one good pheasant hunt in my life. One of my most treasured hunting memories.

    Moi?

Truth be told, I do envy you regarding your access to quality pheasant hunting.  And, the last time I tried my hand at pheasant hunting, I was the one that got shot.

Sat is 1st day for us. Me and Ole Turkey Choke will be out.  Elvira, Mistress of the Bark takes on a nom de plume when she gets to excited and starts busting birds waaaaayyy out there.

The only two upsides to that is that I wasn't there and you can still pack out an elk. :)
