Need a holster recommendation

I’ve been using an Uncle Mike’s or similar holster for my Mk II. However, the front sight has torn the lining so now it snags when I draw the gun. 

Does anyone have any recommendations? FYI: I am very budget conscious(in other words cheapskate) 😋

Ruger makes a factory leather holster that might be a nice upgrade from the Uncle Mikes (which, IMO, is only useful as a partial soft case for transportation).

Unfortunately, mine is a bull barrel which this one doesn’t fit. 

I’ll look more at the website. I ordered some more knives and stuff last weekend and they gave me a $10 gift certificate I need to use.

eBay!!!   There are scores of great new and used holsters for just about any gun and I get stupid good deals there if I’m not in a big hurry.

Ruger eventually will have a sale if you are on their email list, I have picked up all my Ruger compatible holsters this way.

I’ll check. I have bought anything on eBay in years. I never think about it anymore

I just started buying from their website: 2 purchases in a month. My wife may not be too happy if I keep up this pace!!(in other words: no change!!)

What length barrel?

There are several listed on Amazon.  The kydex fits mine with a bull barrel perfectly

Don’t know. I don’t know how to measure this barrel. It’s 5.5” from the front of the ejection port. And 4 1/8” from the “stepped” portion(if that makes sense).

I’ve never had a kydex holster. How well do you like it?

For some reason I’ve always felt like it would be tough on the finish of the gun. But again, I’ve never tried one.
