Cat Calling!
I’ve been getting Game Camera pics of a Bobcat and Yote on my friends place. Along with a couple Grey Fox

So, a buddy and I went out last night to see if we could call one or all of them up.
We lucked out and called up a Grey at the first set. But, we passed on it as we were really after a cat or yote. The second set produced nothing. But, the third set at the above water trough, brought in the cat after about 10-15 minutes. She came sneaking down the hill towards the trough and broke out of the brush about 100 yards from us. My buddy sent a bullet from his custom .243 Winchester Ackley Improved through her chest and dropped her.

No joy on the yote, so we went to a neighboring property and called up a Grey which I shot using an AR and 64gr Speer GD in .223 Rem. No pic of that one.
Moved to another place and called up another cat in short order. I put another 64gr Speer through her at about 120 yrds and she dropped as well.

The Yotes avoided us all round. Just means we will have to go back again. Twist my arm.
Good time with a good dude. Man knows how to call varmints!
