I had a pair of Steiner 8x30 that I really enjoyed using, up until something went wrong internally.  Looking through them looks like someone smeared vasoline on the lenses.  Currently use a pair of 10x42 Redfield binoculars.  While they sure do work well for what they cost, I think a pair of Leupold binoculars is in my future.  Probably not a $1200 pair though.

Funny story about those 10x42 Leupolds.

I had an older pair of Leupold LRF 6x Binos. The range finder stopped working and nothing I did could get them up and running.
I called Leupold and told them my problem. They noted that the model I had was discontinued and that there was likely nothing they could do to fix them as that model was antiquated and technology had improved. But, they told me to send them in anyway and they would see what they could do. So, I sent them in.
About 4 weeks later, I get a package on my door from Leupold. It contained the pair of 10x42 BX-3 binos and a monocular 800yrd range finder. A note mentioned that they were unable to fix my LRF Binoculars so, I could enjoy a new range finder AS WELL AS a new pair of binos.

And people wonder why I buy Leupold?
I don’t.  My experiences with Leupold CS have been beyond outstanding!  They’ve always gone beyond what they needed to do to make me happy!

They flat out ROCK!  Having dealt with them on first-owner repairs, second owner repairs, and just being receptive to integrating end-user feedback, that's really the only way to say it.

I probably need to get a new pair of 10x42 HD's from them.  My old 10x42 Wind Rivers (marketed by Leupold, but not made by them) were good for starters 25 years ago, but don't really have the clarity for the dawn and dusk game.  The glass on my 8x42 HD's is AWESOME, but the magnification isn't what I want.  Might be time to "pledge my support" again. :D
