    What are her occupational plans?
She’s currently enrolled in college full time working on getting accepted into the school’s commercial pilot program.  After she graduates she plans to go fly for the same airline as her boyfriend (soon to be fiancé) is currently flying for.

At the same time she is getting certified as a Concealed Carry instructor with the company I work for to teach female only classes for me.  No grass grows between the girl’s toes 😁

Congrats to her! The few times I worked with AFSOC, the -130 crews in particular were always a pleasure to deal with.

That sums it up very nicely!  They do come back better people...

That’s great to hear.  The folks from her outfit that had the pleasure to meet were all pretty cool!  But good to hear third party confirmation 😁

She has given you reason to be proud.  Well done dad and a big thanks to her for her service.

Wish I would have kept my patches and uniforms and hats.  Wife threw them away.

Funny my daughter almost did the same.  I think these things only really acquire a value as the distance from the time in the service gets longer?

Interesting...  my future SIL has gifted me things that would be precious to most folks.  To him they don’t seem to mean that much.  I’ll hang on to them as I do my daughter’s and son’s “souvenirs” they’ve given me over the years.  Hopefully some day they’ll return to them when they mean something more.

I had some mukaloks with wool inserts that were warm as any insulated boots as long as they were dry.  I'd love to have them now for cold days at the range
