Another half-time show sucked worse than the last.

I haven't been impressed since Katy Perry.

With that said, my favorite dive was pretty loud, so I only saw the visuals.

I have no idea. I guess that compounds the issue.

Some clown called the Weekend or something. Mediocre at best music. Easy to tune out at least. Bunch of weird dancers wearing jockstraps for facemasks?

No one I ever heard of or care too ever again.

Have to be honest.   Never heard of the guy, don't care for his music, but,  visually it wasn't bad, but, there is another but.  Watching it i realized all the back up singers, violin players and everyone i saw in the show were of the same race.  With all the call for racial equality, it certainly missed the mark.

I thought the same thing, the only caucasian I saw was playing guitar, how racist me and the wife thought.

That dude is some Canadian artist (term used loosely here), I had to look it up since my first reaction was ****. He sounded like a cat in heat!!!
After the first song, I was glad it was over and then he jumped straight into another song and I left the room. I finally came back when I got the all-clear.
What ever happened to good halftime shows? If you have nothing better, you should just run first half highlights or something.
No worries, I won't be watching anymore Superbowl events, I'm done.

We haven't watched one in several years - and I was doing the ham test anyway.

    You watched it????

I caught a glimpse or two checking to see if the second half had started.

And while we're discussing (or cussing) the SB, I was somewhat disappointed in it, as well.  I sort of wanted the Chiefs to win, but really had no dog in the fight.  All I'll say is that the officiating was about as bad as any I've seen.

My daughter is a big football fan so we watched the game.  For me it was a good excuse to overeat great food and drink great local craft beers she picked up for us.  We all laughed our asses off during the half-time “show”. A crowd of grown men dancing while wearing underwear on their heads!!!!  Precious!!!  But as far as artistic value it was unquestionably the WORST one I’ve ever watched!

I had texts and messages from 5 different unrelated people who all either said they had jockstraps or tighty-whiteys on their heads

Breaking news!   We don't know who really won, yet.  There's still mail in TDs, field goals and extra points coming in.

It was the first Superbowl I've seen since some time in the nineties. I didn't care then and I didn't care Sunday but like GunNut pointed out, it was an excuse to get together with friends and be festive so I went along with it. Halftime garbage aside the game was rather amusing. It looked like the Harlem Globe Trotters versus some college basketball team, talk about a mismatch and KC couldn't seem to stop drawing penalty flags. Too many, in my opinion.
Anyway, it was a pandemic Superbowl with a bunch of cardboard cutout fans and I thought to myself, "Okay, I'll watch. After all, how many Superbowls this goofy will I get to see in my lifetime?"
Maybe the cardboard cutouts where taunting Kansas City. I bet that was the problem.

Anyway, congrats on the ham tests. 👍

It's official, you can now repurpose a jockstrap as a face covering for public use.
I hope they're each wearing their own because otherwise... Dang!!!

If that's what they were shooting for, they hit the nail on the head. 🤣🤣🤣

Its supposed to be bandages.  If you were to go back through the music videos for his last album he eventually ends up with a beat up and bloody face as the "story" progresses.

I was extra successful in my annual goal this year - not only did I avoid knowledge of which 2 teams were playing up to game day, even the day after, I'm still not 100% sure.  I heard some radio mouthpieces this morning.  Apparently some aged QB has now won more SB's personally than any single team.  He may have been playing for some franchise called the Bucks. . .maybe out of Kansas City?

Spent that afternoon buying and installing a new dishwasher.

Speaking of cardboard cutouts, one of the talking heads mentioned that fans could send in a picture of themselves and $100 to have their own cutout placed in a seat at the superbowl.

There are some things just too stupid to make up.

I am not interested in TV sports, so I didn't watch it, and wasn't turned off by anything, and glad I didn't. The pre-game and half-time stuff is turdy propaganda and turdy music.

Yep, I heard that too.  I don't even get that one....... How would you even know if they actually placed your picture on a seat?
