I doubt it.

I think on this one there's quite an age disparity. I'm not real old yet, but it's getting very hard to be rugged.

I don't know about "rugged", but I will say that I'm definitely an "Individualist". But I don't think this thread will end well...

I looked it up in the dictionary and found this,

: the practice or advocacy of individualism in social and economic relations emphasizing personal liberty and independence, self-reliance, resourcefulness, self-direction of the individual, and free competition in enterprise

Next to the above definition was this picture.

Notice the matching beards? It's a requirement.👍

I think you'll find that most of the people on here believe in being self sufficient. Having been in the Boy Scouts, US Army, lived through inner city riots and major hurricanes, the only person you can depend on for you own safety greets you in the mirror every morning. I like to be prepared. So I have first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other tools, which is all guns are, to help me keep myself and my loved ones safe.

Look at any disaster, natural or political. No one else is going to take care of you but you. Prove me wrong.

Not trying to be too critical but a us vs US, US gun forums?, a vague and ambiguous question for the second post? Is this person phishing from the Berkeley Pier?

I do like the responses! Wait till he meets our very own Klinger    He'll learn what a rugged individualist is.

This forum is better than most I've been on, that's why I post here. Forums of any sort are just a reflection of society, there are rectums every where most with hemorrhoids. Members on this forum  do a fair job of weeding them out.

Speaking for myself, I'm old, over weight, my gray hair is thinning, my beard and nose hair is thickening, my eyesight is fading and I'm not handsome but I'm better looking than you. I've had a mushroom's diet most of my life, flunked out of dumb school, attended the "School of Hard Knocks" and got a degree from "What's Amater U". 

My body hurts, I'm grumpy, I don't give a dam what other people think, I'm ready for anything this world wants to send and I'll thank God for his mercy when its over.




And yes, I have a four wheel drive, guns and a still, two of them.

It's very obvious it's a troll. It wants answers because it's been spoon-fed lies it now believes are the truth. It thinks it can rile us up or whatever. We have to have entertainment occasionally. I think of the OP as a court jester.

Depends on your definition.  I'd wager few if any of us currently get by with ZERO help/assistance/team work/group effort... but the flip side of that coin is that there are plenty here who could, if they chose to.
