Just wondering if anyone has any leads and a nickel steel. 30 wcf 20 inch carbine barrel for an early winchester 1894? Thanks

Homestead parts has original parts a nd barrels in stock. I've dealt with the several times and they have great service and parts!!

If the bore is bad and you want to keep it original, you can always have it re-lined. It will shoot like new and the gun stays original.

Thanks the info, the gun doesn't have a barrel at this time. I bought it as just a receiver no other parts

Nice work and not easy.
A few years back I took a very old one down to small parts and cleaned/replaced parts.
How did you find the pieces fit together? I found many replacement parts to be drop in with a few needing fitting

Thanks, some of the parts fit good others needed some fitting. I've noticed that with some of my other 94 projects too. Usually the carriers and the loading gates need work

Parts came from ebay, gun shows, and online parts stores like numric. Took a while to find everything.

It’s a labor of love getting those old timers running again. I often end up spending more than the gun is worth in these type projects. Still worth it. You did a very nice job of it!
