Crossfire Trail strikes again

The Tom Sellick movie, Crossfire Trail was the inspiration for my purchase of the 1876 Winchester. But another gun he also used in the movie, which I fell in lust with, was an 1872 Colt Conversion.
So, I was at the BX a few days ago and I couldn't believe they actually had one in stock. Beautifully made by Uberti in .45 Colt. Also the inspiration for my latest question in the trivia thread!!

I have one of those shooters...love those open top Colts...built a cross-draw holster for it...

The larger holster was built for my open top but accommodates my Vaquero Bisley as well...

I had one in 44 special. I got rid of it when I replaced the front sight for the 3rd time. I would loose the sight after every time i shot it. I was going to dovetail a sight in, but a guy I knew wanted it for a belly gun..... sold! front sight extra. By the way mine shot high but grouped nice, when the sight was there. 🤣
