An uncomfortable reality
I've got a H&K P 7 I was gifted as a retirement gift. It's cherry (refurbished?) and the one time I shot it, was very accurate. However, the recoil spring is VERY strong. With arthritis in my hand, I can't grip it strongly enough to pull the slide back. For the range I've got a Handi-Racker that allows me to back the slide easily but I hate to depend on an artificial means of cocking the pistol.
I wondered if a weaker recoil spring would still be reliable and easier to work. Anyone got any ideas?
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.
