Ammo still tough but guns are making a comeback.

I keep tabs on several outlets looking for availability of popular desirable makers/models like 9mm Glocks and I’m now seeing inventory that lasts more than an hour on some of the big outfits. On one of them you need to pre-order/pre-pay and they give you a date, usually about a week or so down the road, when your gun can be picked up locally and I’ve had several folks I’ve pointed in their direction do this to good effect. The prices are still pre-COVID too, they never jacked them up like most.
Used to be you needed to act immediately when they posted a model as available, now it’s up for a few days, sometimes a week. They still have a 2 guns limit of any of the popular models, like Glock 19s, per buyer to stop local smaller stores from stocking up off their inventory.

You know me so well. ❤️
It'll probably be more reliable than the firearm.

All the production is going to volume firearms with very little going to niche firearms,
You STILL have to wait a few weeks to take possession of a paid for Glock at most of the local store. It's pay first and wait for your gun. 43Xs are still basically impossible to find. Racks of revolvers and 1911s all over the place though...
BTW Ive seen at least 5 emails advertising ammo on SALE!!! The sale price being still higher than pre-covid. There might be some light at the end of this dark and long tunnel.
They pop up on GB every now and then but they end up in the 1200-1700 price range. Even I'm not that crazy.
That help at all
