Zee is on to something with the Dremel

A few weeks back I did my version of the Glock trigger job in 4 training Glock 44s using the 2000 grit paper and they are smooth for sure but since they don’t have a Ghost Connector for them I could only get them to a decent pull, not a great one.

Then I did the Zee Dremel job on one of them with felt tips and while I didn’t use Flitz I used 2 grades of diamond polishing paste to get the internals mirror shinny on it.  Dropped almost another pound and there’s no wall anymore.

Oh well I have some polishing to do tomorrow! 😁

Just measured my EDC 48 and it averages at 4lb 3oz (polish and Ghost Connector), and it's SMOOOOOOOOOTH!

If you own a Glock you owe it to yourself to do this.  The difference is night and day, and it's an under 15 minute time investment.

Basically the trigger bar and the connector.  Dremel with a felt tip.  Zee uses Flitz.  I used two grades of diamond polishing compound.  

Polish every surface to mirror finish and make sure there are no burs from stamping left on any edges.  

I also polish the sear on the striker on both surfaces (front and bottom) making sure I keep the angle the same and the edge sharp.  For this I still use the 2000 grit paper wrapped around a nail file to keep it straight.  Basically pull the backplate off and take the striker out for this then reassemble.  Lubricate all the points of contact with a small amount of good grease before reassembly.
