Also a Police Positive. The only reason that I didn't buy it is because I'd want to buy it as a resell investment but know damn good and well that id keep it and lord knows  that I dont need anymore guns lol. But now you guys have me rethinking it.

Nice score!  I am a huge lever gun fan.  They are just so pleasing to shoot.

    Too right.

Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.

Oh so that’s an interesting idea…. I was thinking a Colt SA for a matching caliber sidearm but maybe I should find a nice early 1900 Colt DA revolver for the matching caliber handgun!!!  Hummmm…

Another thought would be a Colt Bisley in .32-20... A veritable classic

You’ve always done a good job of that.

Thanks!!!  Unfortunately, finding out if she even functions will be delayed.  I followed the link for ammo given above and while there is some stock available, by the time I pay for ammo, tax and shipping we are at $180 for 100 rounds. That is just NOT happening!!!!!

Brass for it is made out of unobtanium now and in any case my reloading setup is still in boxes until I finish the garage.
So I’ll have to wait til post panic to buy some reasonably priced Cowboy Action type ammo in the $30-$40s range to play with her… 🤬🤬🤬

You need to broaden your horizons. Ask at your LGS's
    Check the local boards etc.

Or contact a buddy that has it

Went to 2 of my partner LGSs today.  They checked inventory in 4 stores and 7 different suppliers.  No joy…. I don’t know anyone that has spare ammo nowadays…

GunNut when I bought my Contender I picked up a box of brass (100) I would be able to send you fifty of them and fifty 115 grain cast bullets, all I would need is an address.

Wow, that's a very generous offer, specially considering the current ammo/components situation.  You sure you can spare them?  PM on its way.
