The breech face of the frame should be flat which means the chamber is likely reamed deeper on your suspect barrel. If it's not visually obvious, you'll likely have to use a depth mic to know for sure.

Let us know what you find out. If that's the issue, call Bond Arms. They'll probably tell you to send it in.

Details, we need Details. Right now my mind is leaning towards.

OK. . .we go from potential warranty issue to spending $150 on probable derringer accessories. . .

Guessing that the barrel lockup is created by some kind of eccentric camshaft lobe that isn't quite "lobing" enough, and/or your barrels aren't quite perpendicular to the breechface? That would likely lead to excessive headspace on the bottom tube while leaving the top still in tolerance.
I generally bench everything from 25yds. @ 25 yds it was 1.5ft left 1 1' high the other 1' low . I'm probably going to file the rear sight wider on the right and add high vis to center things up. I consider 25yds the minimum for something I would carry to not be a danger to everyone around me. It's a nice dress gun I suppose. I've seen them for years and finally got around to getting one. My Max9 has truly amazed me and is my current EDC

I’m truly curious… what makes you think that Bond should be a 25 yard gun?… 🤔
You never know until you try. Sometimes you may be surprised. My LCP and P11 are minute of bad guy at 25yds. My backyard range is 25 yds from the patio picnic table where I set up my rest for initial testing of all of my guns. I knew where the first 2 went and could determine from there what to do. First I'm going to address the 1.5' to the left issue by filling and recutting the rear sight to center things up then figure out the sight picture I need. The one barrel is dead nuts elevation wise middle of the front sight which is also very easy to pick up. Front Sight Front Sight Front Sight after all. A little time and ammo hopefully I'll be able to hit reliably with this thing.

Wait a minute. You are worried about the sights on a derringer?

That is what I would do as well.
