Damn you all...
As of not deduct from Enzos post about his new acquisition, I mentioned that I had the opportunity a week or so ago to purchase a colt police positive for 350. After some of you guys advice I sent the guy a text telling him that I'd like to go ahead and buy it. He just left my shop and I'm now the proud owner of this gun with 2 boxes of ammo to go with it. I appears to have been reblued but it wasn't badly done regardless of the wear to the insignia. Anyhow, looks like I have to do a background check on myself since the transaction took place under my license.

I always picture old time beat cops walking patrol when I see those.

I've only shot the .38 spl version of that revolver and it shot very accurate.
BTW do you have dies?

Reblued indeed as what appear to be some pitting marks in the panel right over the tip of the left grip seems to show. Anyway not easy to find these old revolvers that back in the day weren't safe queens in still mint finish condition, so no harm there. Will like to see it perform at the range.
