Bolt, Lever, semi

What action do you have the most of? For me, it's the lever action. And I don't particularly like lever guns.
Kinda like Wambi's like for originality, I guess. And I can't pass up a good deal, or even a not so good of a deal. Ten years ago, after Christmas and deer season, where I live you could pick up a Marlin 336 for a decent price. I believe I paid $225 for a pawn shop rifle, the one with a scab on the stock. And my original Mauser with a Lyman 48 sight I got for about the same price. Not a cigarette gun, either. As I said, can't look past a good deal.
The 336 is in good shape other than the scab. Made in 1977, as was my 1894 Marlin.
Since I don't hunt, I have some degree of originality which I get semi-obsessed. . I won't put a scope on my levers although I did at one time. They shoot fine. It's an entirely 'nother game with open sights.
I re-read this and realize I'm rambling like the old man I am.
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.

I too love classics. The only lever which has a scope on it is the Win 88 because it belongs there and it’s a period correct scope. With the exception of my Rossi and Uberti all the other levers are old guns going back to the early 1900s and even the Rossi (1892) and the Uberti (1873) while new manufacture are old designs. And, oh yeah, I miss those days when there were racks of old Marlins and Winchesters in every LGS for $200 or so.

I do have bolt, lever, and single shot in .44 and .357 though.
If all of the above, Semi, shotguns, pistols and a 1022.

Most nice .22LR rifles are bolt action; also like 23 million military Mauser rifles made worldwide and I want them ALL, so no wonder.
Semis are cool, but centerfire mag-fed are realtively scarce and expensive here due to coming and going legal restrictions.
Love levers and would have more but also not aboundant in good condition, nor a very popular action down here after maybe the '30s, so most of what you find are plain-Jane '94s or usually derelicted '92
Followed by a tie between levers and bolts, since I got rid of most of my mil-surp bolt actions.
Lever action (Savage 99) are actually my preference.
