I found some minor scratches in the Thompson "Style" ML I'm working on and decided to work on them again. Well it's not exciting or interesting work and my mind drifted off. I thought of a few firearms I blued with the Dicropan system, they were splotchy when I made the finish too fine :#. I got down to 600 grit on this barrel! Did I go too far? I've never Browned before, after my epiphany I looked in the instruction and they say sand to 220 grit?

Do I have to re-sand this barrel with 220 grit?

My OCD is kill me, I'll see this in my dreams tonight!
I like Elmer Keith; I married his daughter
