Never had this request before.
A younger guy came in with this Glock 48 and showed me some pictures on his phone of what he wanted done. He wanted the bottom front of the slide angle cut, barrel flushed and crowned to the front of the slide, the serrations milled deeper and then a window on top of the slide with 8 large ports. Of all the things, the ports worried me the most just because of how much pressure and velocity that I assumed he'd lose. He said he still wanted it done even if that meant scrapping out a barrel. It turned out good and I test fired it. It cycles fine and the porting works amazingly well. I still have to do the serrations and then cerakote it.

That and the other slide cuts may have lightened the slide enough to allow it to cycle.
