I think I mentioned on here I have not been shooting due to wrist pain.  arthritis  and severe carpal both of which were traumatized by a dog bite.  Was fine before bite, not been pain free in the 1.5 yr. since.  But I have had 3 new pistols waiting to shoot and even if I had to shoot left handed, they were going to get shot.  Surprisingly it was not that painful.  Paying for it now though.  On to the guns.

First was a rock island 1911 commander size on 9mm.  Shot a mag of blazers and it was wide right and low.  Adjusted sights left a little and it was centered perfectly.  Than adjusted up 2 clicks and it was high.  Down 1 and slightly low.  So it will always shoot a little low but not much.  Less than an inch at 20 yards but dead center.  It shot well the rest of the day with both factory and reloads. Until I got to hollow points.  Only had 4 Silvertips with me.  First 3 were fine, 4th jammed.  Racked it and it loaded and shot.  Further attempts are needed to carry this gun.

Next, Ruger redhawk 8 shot .357.  Man this gun is dead nuts on from the first shot.  Great group all at POA WITH 38 SPL .  Love this gun.

Last was a Colt 1911 in .45 acp, competition model.  First shot all centered but a little low. No elevation adjustment so...  Shot a little over a box of 230 ball and fed fine and shot nice tight groups.

All in all, was nice to shoot again and pleased with a 3 guns.
