I got one of those green stocks in the 60's----stock broke on a below zero day------Remington put a brown stock on it.

There were two "green" stocked Nylon guns.  One was the Seneca green, the other was a brighter green sold by K-mart.  Different greens entirely.

They're the rarest of the Nylon 66 guns.  This one is like new.

I looked it up and I actually got mine in 1959 and it had to be the Seneca green one.

It is brown now as I said earlier and has no serial number which made it controversial registering it aboard Military Bases .

What is the 66's reputation for accuracy?

They're accurate enough.  Not match grade, but fine with open sights.  I had access to one a long time ago with a 1/2" scope on it and managed to make some good shots with it.
