The “Tumor Buck” is done. My friend who took care of my other friend’s yote problem was offered the chance to end the buck’s suffering with the growth in his throat. It took us two days, and two different stands, but we finally got him.
Custom .308 Winchester w/168gr Hornady Black A-Max at 150 yards. Double lung. He ran about 50 yards and fell. The autopsy revealed two cyst. One just below his chin and to the side of his esophagus. Another, unknown, was directly between his jaws and at the back of his mouth. How he ate and breathed is unknown. It appeared to obstruct both. He was a big 3.5 year old which possessed weak tops for two years. Regardless his impressive brow tines. The weak tops and the cysts spelled his demise.

Yeah, he was pretty excited, his dad and mom were sitting by our fire pit when his dad got the call, had to talk him down and wait till his buddies got there to go look for it in the corn field, he heard some coyotes start singing close by and was worried they would find it before him
