300 PRC Ammo

WilliamH4WilliamH4 Posts: 2 New Member
New to this forum. I think I posted in the appropriate thread. I have found a few websites with 300 PRC ammo in stock, for $3.00-$4.00/round. After Googling the sites and reading reviews, most were sketchy at best and scam at worst. I found 300 PRC ammo on some legit sites, but at $7.00-$8.00/round, it's a bit expensive. Anyone had any luck find these rounds, on what they know is a legit site, for something less than $7.00-$8.00/round?

Welcome!  You’ll have a difficult time finding it at all.  It’s not exactly a top seller being a real boutique round and relatively new one at that.  The issue with shooting exotics is that you end up paying $$$ for the fun.  Great round thought, that has intrigued me since the introduction.  Good article right here about it.  Good luck!

Thank you for the welcome. I considered buying a rifle for the 300 Win Mag but decided to go with the 300 RPL. I knew it would be difficult to find and expensive, but it will be fun to shoot. I certainly won't be shooting scores of rounds down range at that cost, LOL.

    I would assume not! 🤣

That's funny I was fondling a Bergara in .300 PRC this weekend.  It was NICE! Great gun and intriguing cartridge for sure but I need another deer round like I need a hole in the head.  Too many toys in the WANTS list to another right now.

Which gun did you get?  And by the way there’s a $5 fine if you talk about a new gun and don’t post a picture 😁
