Michigan shotgun zone gun law - G&A article error.
I was just reading my latest G&A November article about the Mossberg .350 Legend bolt action by Craig Boddington. He said you can use a .38-55, .375 Winchester, .444 Marlin and .45-70 in the shotgun zones.
In Michigan the law states a .35 caliber or larger, straight wall cartridge with a minimum case length of 1.16 and a maximum case length of 1.80 inches can be used in the shotgun zone in lower Michigan. Those 4 rounds he mentioned in that article are not legal to use in the shotgun zone because they exceed the case length requirement.
I hope miss-informed readers don't get in trouble with the law in Michigan.
