Ruger is the Devil!

Well, @Elk creek………I lied.

Walked into my LGS this afternoon and there in the case sat a TALO Edition Birdshead Wrangler.

Damn……..take my money.

She looked good. She felt good. Yeah, it’s not a Blackhawk quality gun. But, it’s not the price either. I liked her. She liked me. We kissed. She’s in purgatory now.

Absolutely NO idea why I want it. It’s just too nice not to. No clue what I’ll do with it. But, I’ll find out.

Those grips look nice, my Single-Six is the favorite gun in the house, MN has an archaic law about pot metal guns and we cannot purchase Wranglers in MN, I would have at least one if not for that.

Have you met our Governor, Attorney General, and our Senators? They had mean things to say about shoesalesman last year.

If the ones I saw looked that good I’d have bought that one too! Nice grab, oh I still have your scope caps….. they are still coming! 🤣

Nice, I looked at the same selection ElkCreek did today and was not impressed. Yours looks much nicer. Are there Talo and non Talo versions?

Do you wanna be a cowboy, baby? :D

I wouldn't worry.  I'm pretty sure you're protected by the No Such Thing As Too Many .22s clause.

Yes. Wood grips w/holster are TALO. Plastic grips are factory guns.

There's no such concept as need or don't need, and love cancels doubt.

You know exactly what you're going to do with it, first comes let's shoot it, followed by tinker with it, then you'll do the science of figuring out what it digests the best. When that's all done, you'll post your results here and enable some while you make the rest of us jealous!

    YOU SUCK!

I like Elmer Keith; I married his daughter

My Wrangler was a complete impulse purchase. No regrets from it, though!

congrats. Can’t wait for the range report

I never did scratch my teenage itch for a 5.5" stainless Single Six.  Did the MKII thing instead; did the DA S&W thing later.  Learned that they optimized the bore for the fatter .22WMR (which I'd probably never shoot), so it may just never happen.

If they put a wide blade sight on this Wrangler that I can sort of SEE, I may have a problem.
