    Very nice WS
our family sold walnut trees to Reinhart Fajen in Missouri many years ago.
Wow that’s cool!  This stock might have come from one of your trees!!!

Could be?  That was in the mid or late 1960s as I remember

Unfortunately I have no clue when this stock was made.  I bought this only 2 years ago.  I do have some old Fajer stocks on Commercial Mausers that are almost guaranteed to be at least that old!  They used to make great stocks!

So the GM barrel arrived.  .920, 18" blued, fluted.
I cleaned it inside and out and just for grins I made a video of borescoping it.
I went to shove it together with my hands but it was a little tight.  I put it in the chest freezer for 3 or 4 hours and it was still tight but I was able to fully seat it with my hands.
So the barrel is "installed" AND it has been cryogenicaly treated! 😝

Just got an email from Boyds.  Stock is on the way.  Pics after that.
    That's all I got.

Great, now I have to go update my barrel break in process. Maybe I can replace the freshly dead chicken part with the cryogenic treatment...

Does anyone do the cryogenic thing any more?
Seems like it was a flash in the pan like moly coated bullets and the .270. 😁
    That's all I got.
