I missed Teach's banning thread. In fact, missed reading anything disparaging from him although several others have. I don't know how I missed it but I did. Teach was a generous man; gave me a bunch of .222 ammo and some bullets for my Martini-Henry. I think the mods do a thankless job and do it well. I belonged to the 24 Hr. Campfire for a while lots of aggressively anti-government threads. I don't need that. It could do with a few Voices of Reason there and I'm glad I'm gone.

Last I heard from Centermass and it's been a while. He had a full plate with job and I believe promotion that not only keeps him busy but in a world of no or little social media

Dan C.? Another guy's content that I miss among others mentioned in the last two posts..
Dan Chamberlin?
Yup, Chiro - that's who I was thinking of. Anyway, glad to hear he's around anyway, I wish he'd roll in here now and again. Always thought he was interesting.
Dan C. has taken the Marshall's words ("If you're not being edited, you're not posting enough") to heart. As always, he relishes verbal sparring, and since he's better than average at it, there are lots of hurt feelings among his opponents. 🤣Wambli Ska said:
I don't post that often but am still here, most recent hurdle for me was a collapsed lung this past week. I'm home now and corrective procedure went well. If I would have listened to mi esposa I could have been done it with three weeks earlier!
My off leap year birthday was end of February and I've completed 82 trips around the sun. My BD gift to me was a Ruger Mk III Hunter. I've only shot it one day so far but I'm in love! Wanted one for years and finally GB had a good auction for me. Range report to follow, hopefully.
I've never had a problem with anyone here and have met several and hunted with a few of them. One of the most memorable hunts was with Linefinder and Jerrybobco. Linefinder and I both harvested a Pronghorn doe at over 450 yards! In my opinion we have a fine group of people on this forum

That was a hunt for the ages. Seemed like nothing was going to happen at all....they weren't getting any closer. Finally, I thought to to myself, "Screw this....I've shot pdogs at twice that distance". Things worked out well for us after that. LOL!

Mosseybuck, I remember another pronghorn hunt when you had a buck tag and I had a doe tag. Things were slow going, so Jerry was just driving us around in his truck. Suddenly a decent herd of goats stood up out of the tall yellow grass. I bailed out of the truck, with 6mm Rem in hand. You and Jerry were scanning the herd for a buck, when I launched one at the doe I wanted. The wind was blowing pretty good, and Jerry turned toward me and asked, "Did you just shoot?." I told him yes, and he said he didn't see anything fall down. I told him it felt pretty good, so we better go take a look. Before making the trek, I took my infamous orange bucket out of the truck and put it down at my firing position. At ~260 yards, Jerry said...."Well, tracks indicate they took out of here in a hurry". I looked back at my bucket and said "A little more to the right". 10 steps later Jerry said, "Well....lookie there".......

Refusing to conform to the left wing mantra of political correctness by insisting on telling the truth does not make you a loud mouth.
