26 grains of IMR 4198 under a 360 grain Bear Creek bullet. Manual claimed 1,316 fps from a 24in barrel. I loaded and shot eight test rounds with just a t-shirt on and it left a small bruise. There is no recoil pad on the Winchester 1885 I posted earlier.

It takes longer to shoot because you have to stop grinning and giggling between shots, plus it takes time for the bullet to reach the target!!
