If I remember correctly, I believe at least one, if not both, of your .38-55s is a take down. Lots of extra suckage points there!!
You told/showed me more about those rifles than I was able to find elsewhere. Didn't know the front sight and grip were extras. I did learn that the wifes father and two brothers got the money and had their mom order it for their dad.
