I understand that, Al. But my question remains: why respond to a survey when the OP doesn't respond to any inquiries or suggestions we have made?
    Meh.

    Guys,

We just got back from running around the SHOT Show like crazy people taking video of all the new products. One question I have: Do you all care? It is something you look forward to?

Perhaps maybe we should begin to just shun those whom we know that your talking about, their posts. This could include not reading them or responding at ALL! Im in.
Because he's the boss by god. Anymore questions??? LOL!!!

Bye the way, the shot show is mainly for retail sales people and the gun, shooting, and hunting media. I wouldn't expect most people to love it. However it's interesting and there's enough people with FFLs on here for the Shot Show to be of real interest.

Like I said, I used to have an FFL. The shot show gave me a chance to see what new things were coming out that year and also a chance to meet some of my wholesale suppliers I dealt with and get in on some of their Shot Show special deals, which I did. And it also gave me a great opportunity to meet some great old gun writers and other shooting sports celebrities, but that was just icing on the cake. It was a real trip for me in the business I was in.

I attended the SHOT show 2 years ago, and it was a pretty cool experience. It was great to see first hand all of the new products and talk to the company reps in person. With SHOT show coverage I would prefer to see just the facts about new products and leave out the hype. With new products I would like to see them thoroughly tested, and then those facts posted in future articles.

I rarely, if ever, go over to the G&A actual website. Always come to the forums. But this thread, and the War Monkey's thread in the clubhouse about archives had me curious. The only thing that I saw on there was the video with Leatham about the XDS. A Sub-compact sized, single stack, 5+1 .45 ACP XD. Seems like a great little carry piece. I searched the first couple of pages on the General Firearms forum and saw nothing on it. So I guess to answer the original question, I don't really care about the SHOT show, but it does seem like there are a few new offerings each year that are introduced there.
