We got a pass on this one, but the winds are 155 mph, just like Michael here four years ago. That place is getting tore up! Prayers out to all in it's path!

Forecast here in Merritt Island is for wind to peak at 40 briefly tomorrow, with expected rain dropping off from what was prognosticated yesterday. I'm not concerned, but it ain't over till its over.

Living in Colorado, I don't worry much about hurricanes any more. But after 40 years living in Louisiana I'm pretty familiar with them. While the storm-surge and high winds are the cause for most immediate concern, the following slow-moving drenching rains that topple power lines and trees seem to have in recent years caused more fatalities than the hurricane itself, per se. You guys be safe down there....Even if you're not scheduled for a direct hit.

Fingers seriously crossed from the left side of the Country.
"News" just said that the majority of people that die in a storm like this, die from generator fumes.  Too close to the house.
    I'd check that though.
    That's all I got.

We are just seeing some of it on our news over here.
It looks bad, they are saying 200KMPH winds and so far 1.5million without power.
Keep safe  everyone, thoughts are with you.

Heard from Breamfisher this morning. They've lost power and internet, but are otherwise okay.

Just got up. Looks like we're still in the eye, wind is expected to peak at about 37 in the next hour or so then everything dies back. Much to my joy, part of my rickety old fence blew down. I wish all of it had, but I'll take what I can get. I actually had an appt. with a fencing contractor today that was postponed til next week because of all this. Maybe I can get some ins money - or maybe not. Worth a try...

It appears that it may be over for us except for the shouting.

We had moderate winds and it rained  often since we were in the 3-6 inch zone; though I do not think we got more than 3 inches total, just a lot of time raining.

If you hurry, the "wind" could get all of it.......
